In HIS Image

We yearn for truth, love, purpose because we are made in His Image. The Gospel of John lays out seven Signs and seven "I am" statements that Jesus gave. Each of these statements and signs teaches us about His Character, His Power, His Identity.

Learning these Attributes of Jesus open our eyes, hearts, minds, and spirits. We see His Authority over all. He has power and authority over everything. For we who have accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior, stand/kneel/fall-on-our-face amazed. He truly is ALL we NEED.

I AM:

-the Bread of Life, Chapter 6

-the Light of the world, Chapter 8

-the Door of the sheep, Chapter 10

-the Good Shepherd, Chapter 10

-the Resurrection and the LIFE, Chapter 11

-the Way, the Truth, the Life, Chapter 14

-the True Vine, Chapter 15

In Chapter 8, in verse 58, "Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM". NKJV Jesus is using the same NAME that GOD ALMIGHTY use to identify HIMSELF in Exodus 3:13-15. Moses was instructed to use "I AM" when referring to GOD to the children of Isreal.
