Evaluating my Prayer Life.
Reading in the 1963 edition of Peloubet's Select Notes on the International Bible Lessons for Christian Teaching. pg 143 had this statement:
WOW, has this reality progressed in America! Statistics show fewer see Christ as The Way and even those who do say they believe that Christ is The Way, they aren't convinced He is The Only Way. The church still stands; God will always have His "remnant" but she needs Revival. With sin comes the breakingdown of communication. Which equats to superficial communication with God, Our Father, if at all. Anemic prayers. I am aware of my own guilt and am seeking the Lord's forgiveness and the Holy Spirit's Power, Drawing, and Training to correct my own thoughts of self-sufficiency. To get me on my knees praying for others and just as important to teach me what Holiness is and why it is necessary for me.
Family, friends, enemies and The World need me and you! Starting with this study of Psalms 32, 51, 103 I am making a challenge of myself to daily put on the Armor of God as in Ephesians 6 and "pray always...supplications in the Spirit, and being watchful..."vs18.
